Transfer Thursday
Every Thursday, prospective transfer students are invited to meet with a transfer counselor, who can evaluate your credits and eligibility for a scholarship on the spot. Bring your official transcripts for a same-day admission and scholarship decision. Book now
Transfer Credits
- A maximum of 70 credits will be accepted from a two-year school.
- A maximum of 90 credits will be accepted from a four-year school.
Dominican University has articulation agreements with 20 institutions. These agreements can maximize your credit transfer potential. Learn more about our articulation agreements at ngskmc-eis.net/articulation-agreements.
Transfer Scholarships
Dominican University awards transfer scholarships to full-time students enrolled in 12 or more credits per semester. The dollar amount of the award is based upon the student’s GPA from previous colleges. The annual award is divided between the Fall and Spring semesters.

Financial Assistance
Over 90 percent of our students receive some form of financial aid. Your Financial Assistance may include scholarships, federal and state grants, and Dominican University need-based grant-in-aid.

We operate on a rolling admission cycle, so apply whenever it’s convenient for you. We welcome transfers in Spring and Fall. Our transfer counselors will help make your transition smooth and will be with you every step of the way.
